Transporter Motion Simulator

The Museum of Aviation now has a six-axis motion simulator ride called the "Transporter." Visitors are transported to virtual reality locations like man's first walk on the moon, Christopher Columbus' ships, a ride through a volcano, a Grand Prix Race and a fighter jet strike mission during Operation Desert Storm. A total of twelve different 6-minute ride experiences are available in the enclosed capsule with seven seats.
The Transporter is open Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun from 11 am-4 pm. Admission is $5 for all ages and $4 for participants attending an official Museum of Aviation Education Department program. For more information call (478) 923-8800.
